Affordable Display Cabinets for the Home

Hi! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and holiday break. We still have our Christmas tree and decor up and typically do not take down until the week of New Years. As much as I LOVE the glow and ambiance of the tree, I am ready to have more space back in our small living room.

I have been working away on e-designs and thought I would share a couple of my favorite affordable storage display cabinets that feature the classic Studio McGee style but without the hefty price tag—at less than $500!

Here are two recent e-designs in which I’ve used a display storage cabinet:

This gorgeous arched display cabinet is a Sam’s Club find! I am completely wowed by this piece and it’s vibe of refined elegance.

I used this piece in a recent customer’s living room design. The sofa and chairs she had already purchased for her new home and so I introduced earth tones, textures, and accents of black and olive green—embracing an organic, transitional modern design style.

Arched Storage Display Cabinet

This is a cabinet that I have used in several designs over the last year or so. It is available in both this light oak and a medium walnut finish.

I recently completed this design for a customer’s converted living room home office off of their front entry. It very much resembles the living room design above with the natural wood tones, black accents, and shared olive green rug.

This rug is a new find and is washable too! It features olive green, taupe, and ivory shades and if you’re a fan of Galey Alix from Home in a Heartbeat, this rug is her design in a collab she did with Wayfair.

Moody Fall Collection
